These clever rain boots from Hunter Kids get top marks on Zappos for their comfort and waterproof-ness (is that a word?). Plus, they come in lots of colors and are beyond cute. I may have to get a couple of matching mommy-and-me pair.

Baby Needs Some New Shoes

My toddler started school two days per week and is required to wear closed-toe shoes, preferably with socks. Since she has been living in these Circo "Leah" sandals from Target (shown below) and Reef sneakers (from Zappos), which are now too small for socks, it was off to Target to search for some new shoes.

I was very impressed with both the selection and quality of shoes I found at Target, and the price was right too -- most are $15 per pair. Here's what we got.

OshKosh Ariel Athleisure shoes. FYI, these run a little bit small.

OshKosh Ashlynn Athleisure shoes. These are suede and so cute. The Circo Ardella Athleisure shoes shown below are on my wishlist, but they didn't have them in her size.

Look What Came In The Mail!!!

Our on-sale Puddle Jumper shoes! I am so excited. These fabulous maryjanes in the best shade of green (above) were only $15!!! I also got the white sandals below for $20!!!

The shoes are all leather. The styling is similar to Pedipeds, but the soles are perfect for little toddler walkers. Supportive, yet flexible. The girl styles are all adorable. The boy styles are somewhat Euro/schprockets, but at this price, let him make a fashion statement.

Beyond Swoon

Even if I had the money . . . and the inclination to spend more than $1,500 on shoes . . . I couldn't bear to even wear these beautiful Alexander McQueen silver mesh peep-toe pumps. I would put them on a perfectly-lit pedestal and admire them. And I'm really not a "shoe" person . . . more of a "bag" person (diaper bags, lately).

I would wear these beauties to a deposition. I just DARE you to object to my question mister. How would you like an Alexander McQueen silver-toed alligator stiletto in your face. I don't think there is anything I couldn't do in these shoes (well, except maybe run).
