Save The Date

This is just about the cutest little teeshirt I've ever seen. Etsy seller Chakra Pennywhistle takes an organic American Apparel tee or onesie and appliques a "calendar" made from a vintage tee towel, with your special date circled. You could get this for a birthday, wedding, holiday, baby due date, graduation, etc. Adorable. $20.

Simple Christmas Tee

Here is a little teeshirt I made for my toddler. The Christmas tree applique is made from flannel quilting fabric that I got at Ready to Sew Bernina during their Christmas in July sale, and the "star" is a button I bought from one of my favorite Etsy sellers, Kellwood. Anyway, I have a few of these for sale in my Etsy shop. I'd like to do a little applique tutorial, because it really is fun. One of these days...

Absolutely British (And Brilliant)

Charlie and Sarah make the absolute cutest screenprinted teeshirts designed to teach their "half-English son to speak British." I want them all, in kid and adult sizes. Here are some of my favorites. The "Mini," which I would like to buy for my friend Misha's son, in loving memory of "Jellybean" (her former car). The "Tipper Lorry," which i would like to buy for my garbage- and garbage truck-obsessed child. She might also like this book.

And I love "Wellies," because it is just so cute (and it comes in more gender-neutral colors, too).
