Easy Little Skirts

Having a toddler, it's hard to predict from night to night how much time I will get in the craft room. So, sometimes all I have time to do if make some plain, gathered-waist skirts. Two cuts of fabric, serge the edges, sew together, insert elastic and, voila! Adorableness made easy.

Here's another one made with Amy Butler home decor fabric (Water Lotus in Ivory), which gives it a nice weight and makes it hang nicely. I think it will also work for fall and winter with a sweater and tights or leg warmers.
