Kvelling

Sometimes when I go into Old Navy's toddler section, I think, "blech." They sometimes tend toward too much embellishment, gaudy patterns or cheap-looking design. But other times, tears of joy gush forth from my besotted eyes. Like this morning, when I received an email from ON and clicked the link to the store. Herewith, some of the girl items I spotted, starting with the adorable dress above. It looks very similar to one featured in the last issue of Ottobre (tres chic sewing pattern magazine) without all that "must spend 10 hours sewing it yourself" nonsense. Unfortunately, none of these lovelies are on sale, so I probably will take my chances and wait for the markdowns. In the meantime, it sure is fun to look at them and picture my baby wearing them. Enjoy.

P.S. The last dress, the striped halter, has a matching adult dress, for mommy and me lovers like myself.

Looks like I'll have to buy some pretty dresses for my niece. I need my own toddler girl.
